I have a passion for teaching and over 25 years of teaching experience to prove it. I am retired now, but I really enjoy tutoring because it gives me a chance to share the knowledge that I have gained through years of attending college. I have Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biology from Wayne State University, and I have a Master of Public Health degree and Ph.D. in Public Health from Walden University. I love the sciences and I know that sometimes students can find scientific subjects intimidating and challenging. I tutor in the areas of Anatomy, Biology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Science, and Physiology. Teaching and tutoring are very rewarding. To watch my students have dramatic improvements in their academic performances fills me with great pride. I love working one on one when I tutor because it allows me to engage and focus my students in the learning process. Learning can be and should be something to enjoy all of your life. I love to travel and explore new places. I also enjoy working in my garden.
